This guide is designed to help you in the data management of your Laurea projects. When projects generate RDI data, the data itself, its legality, and ownership must be taken care of. Data management helps to do this. The guide also provides basic information on contracts, data protection, datasecurity, and research ethics.

Reference management tools Laurea does not have a license to any reference management system. This guide explains briefly how start using free Zotero reference management tool.

Terms of use and remote access

Laurea licensed e-resources are marked with Laurea logo. Using licensed e-resources outside Laurea's network requires logging in with Laurea username and password (Haka login). Within Laurea's network licensed e-resources can in most cases be used without logging in.

Terms of use of each licensed e-resource can be found by clicking the copyright icon located after the name of the e-resource.

Theseus Theses and publications from Finnish universities of applied sciences. Laurea's theses are added since 2009.
Wiley Online Library This link opens in a new window Multidiscliplinary (nursing, health care, science, social sciences, humanities, business, technology etc.) article database. Laurea's subscription covers more than 1500 journals. Note that Wiley ebook chapters are not included in Laurea's subscription.

E-resources on trial

Keenious Plus
Keenious is an AI-based article search tool. It searches for scientific articles among more than 100 million articles. The search input can be a freely formed text. Laurea staff and students can create an account to the paid Keenious Plus service until 30 April 2025. Usage after that will be evaluated later.
