Logging into Laurea Finna

There are two ways to log into your information in Laurea Finna.

  1. All users can log in with their library card number and PIN code.
  2. Laurea students and staff can also log in with their Laurea user crendetials (Haka login). When you use Haka login for the first time, Laurea Finna will ask you to type your library card number and PIN code. After you have done this once, you can log into Laurea Finna directly with your Laurea credentials.

Checking out, returning, renewing & library fees

There are machines for checking out and returning books in the library. Library card and PIN code is required when you check out books.

You can check out books from any 3AUAS library and return them to any other 3UAS library. Loan period is either 2 weeks or 4 weeks depending on the item type.

Renew your loans online by logging into Laurea Finna. You can do it up to 15 time unless you have library fines 15 € or more, or if there is a reservation for the book.

Return or renew on time. Overdue fine is 0,50 € / day / loan. If you have library fines 15 € or more, you won't be able to renew or check out more books.

Reserving and ordering books

You can order books from other 3UAS libraries or reserve books that are on loan. This is done online in Laurea Finna. [info]

Avoid reserving in vain. Go and fetch the book from the loan shelf by yourself always when possible. You can always check out a book that you get from the loan self regardless how many reservations there may be on that title.

When the reserved book is ready to be picked up, you will receive an email. If you don't check out your reservation on time, a fine of 2 € will be added to your account.

Opening hours & contacts

Library opening hours contain both service hours and self service hours. During self service hours you can return and check out books with the lending machines, but there is no librarian present.
