How to find journals and articles

There are several services through which you can search for articles. You can search through the actual article databases or larger search services. This page introduces you to some of the Laurea Library licensed article databases and to some larger article search tools.

If you are looking for a specific journal or magazine, go to Laurea Finna and search by the name of the journal or by the ISSN number.

Academic article databases

Free database of over 56,000 trials, reviews and guidelines evaluating physiotherapy interventions.

PubMed Central (PMC)
PubMed Central (PMC) is a free digital repository that archives open access full-text scholarly articles that have been published in biomedical and life sciences journals.

AI-based article search tools

Keenious Plus
Keenious is an AI-based article search tool. It searches for scientific articles among more than 100 million articles. The search input can be a freely formed text. Laurea staff and students can create an account to the paid Keenious Plus service until 30 April 2025. Usage after that will be evalued later.
