Instructions: Downloading e-books

You can download e-books from Ebook Central for a limited period of time to your mobile device or to your PC. The books are copy-protected with Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM) software, so you first need to install a reading software that supports Adobe's DRM. For PC:s the reading software is called Adobe Digital Editions. For mobile devices install Adobe Digital Editions or Bluefire Reader.

Installing reading software to mobile devices

• Create an Adobe account at https://www.adobe.com/account/sign-in.adobedotcom.html
• Download Adobe Digital Editions or Bluefire Reader from your application store. You'll need the Adobe account for authorizing your device.

Installing reading software to PC or Mac

• Create an Adobe account at https://www.adobe.com/account/sign-in.adobedotcom.html. (Not necessary with PC:s)
• Install Adobe Digital Editions. If you like you can use your Adobe account for authorizing your computer.
• Laurea staff can download Adobe Digital Editions from Laurea's Sofware Center.
