3UAS Libraries: Welcome

This guide provides information on 3UAS Libraries (Haaga-Helia, Laurea and Metropolia UAS libraries) and how to use their services and resources.

3UAS Libraries

  • Libraries in Haaga-Helia, Laurea and Metropolia (3UAS Libraries) combined their collections and customer registers in May 2019
  • Being a customer of any 3UAS library gives you the right to use library services and the joint collection with one library card
  • Libraries own search interfaces: HH Finna, Laurea Finna and MetCat Finna are the gateway to the joint collection
  • Licensed e-material  is accessible only for students and staff of own home university

Library cards and joint customer register

New customers

  • 3UAS libraries are open for all
  • You will get a library card from customer service at the library. Please bring a valid photographic proof of identity (driving license, passport, ID card)

Old customers

  • All customers can find their customer information via any 3UAS Finna by loging in with their library card number and PIN code
  • 3UAS students and staff members who use Finna HAKA login, find their customer information via their own UAS's Finna
  • Important! HAKA login users have to reconnect their library card to their Finna account after the system change in May 2019. In Finna first select Haka login. Then go to 'My account' > 'Library cards' > remove library card > connect library card.

Customers who have registered to more than one 3UAS library before May 2019

  • Information about loans and fees have been unified in June 2019
  • There can be only one active library card and email address
  • After the unification, check the number of your active library card from Finna by logging in. The number is on the library card -tab. Also, check your contact, loan and fee information. If you have problems in login or any questions, please contact the library
